In Product Review on December 26, 2009 by shadowx94

Hey guy! Kevin here. And today i will be reviewing the Creative Inspire T3030 2.1 Sound System. The Creative Inspire T3030 is a speaker system with the subwoofer system(which controls the speakers) and the speaker itself. The speaker has a Great design which it look like a old style speakers. The Bass is quite big but you can’t complian about this speakers because the subwoofer has a Powerful bass that it would shake anything(it shake my desk) and that is not all when you listen to like soft music its very clear(if you turn down the bass vol to 5 or 4) and you will be relaxing. And it comes with a wired Controller which controls the Vol and the Bass Vol. Here is some of the speclfications:

Satellite speakers:
6 watts RMS per channel

Subwoofer
17 watts RMS

Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR):
80dB

Frequency Response:
40Hz to 20kHz

that is the specifications for the Creative Inspire T3030 2.1 Sound System

here is the Pros and the Cons for the this Product.

Pros: Eye Catching Design, Great Subwoofer system and Great Sound with listening to music.

Cons: The subwoofer is too big to fit in small places, wired controller which make it hard to reach.

Overall: Its a Low price for this Product, Its a Must Get Product! If you want to listen to music or just use it for gaming without spending so much money on great speakers than the Creative Inspire T3030 is the choice for you! There is a few more info i want to add. The Controller has a Headset jack for your own listening and the speakers has a stand(not a long stand) and they are wall mountable.

This is Kevin Signing Off!

Product Review: Creative sound Blaster Play

In Product Review on December 23, 2009 by shadowx94

Hey guys! i am back and this is our first product review. Today i will be reviewing the Creative Sound Blaster Play. The Sound Blaster play is a small device with a mic and headphone jack. It does look like a Thumb drive to me. And when i test this product with my Creative Inspire T3030 i was blow away with the clear sound and  the list goes on. The Creative Sound Blaster Play! has two main technology which is EAX Advanced HD 3.0 and CMSS. This two technology make this product a smash hit product and it had reach the top 5 list of sound cards. You can change the sound effect with the software provided in the box. What is inside the box is the device it self, the CD for the software and drivers and a Quick start leaflet. The Product Cost $29 SGD in Harvey Norman, Challenger and other retal stores.

Pros: EAX 3.0, 64-Bit sound card, CMSS, Very clear when listening to music and its good when playing game.

Cons: I would like to see this Product support 128-Bit Sound card, The Software is quite hard to use(as for me), Plain design.

Overall: Its a great USB sound card to carry and clear sound when using your headset. When using your Headset, You will hear the music much clearer than the built in sound card like the Realtek HD audio(which i have in my laptop) thanks to EAX 3.0 and with EAX 3.0 you will have the most clearest sound you ever heard with EAX Effects(comes with the Driver CD).

This is Kevin, Signing Off!

EA closes the door on Pandemic Studio

In Game News, PC Gaming News, PS3 News, Xbox 360 News on November 18, 2009 by xxg3n0c1d3xx Tagged: , , , , , , ,

pandemic

According to reports that an internal memo from EA has confirmed that Pandemic Studios was shut down earlier today with a “core IP team” being relocated to Electronic Arts’ offices in Los Angeles, while approximately 200 other employees have lost their jobs; including former CEO Andrew Goldman, former president Josh Resnick, and form VP of product development Greg Borru.

EA games label senior vice president, Nick Earl said, ”I want to make it clear that the Pandemic brand and franchises will live on.  In the months ahead, we will announce plans for new games based on Pandemic franchises.  This type of change can be difficult. But the situation calls for us to act decisively, to take control of our destiny and to run a stronger, more focused development operation. That’s how we will continue to make great games in our LA studios.”

The studio started in Los Angeles in 1998 and was most notable for featuring fully-destructible environments.  Pandemic Studios was purchased by EA in 2007 after a string of popular titles including: Full Spectrum Warrior, Star Wars: Battlefront, Destroy All Humans, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, and The Lord of the Rings: Conquest.

Pandemic was working on the World War II era sandbox title The Saboteur, with a 2010 release date on multiple platforms. Since Pandemic Studio getting its studio closed down by EA The Saboteur will not be shelved as EA is shifting the game to EA montreal Studio and will continue its development.

Some new interesting info about Rockstar Games Playstation 3 exclusive Spy game “Agent”

In Game News, PS3 News, Sony News on November 18, 2009 by xxg3n0c1d3xx Tagged: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Agent was revealed at Sony’s E3 conference and announced that it will be exclusive to the Sony Playstation 3 platform from prolific developer Rockstar Games in the form of Agent.  Besides a cool looking logo and a simple summary that the game would be a spy story set in the 1970s no other details were given. And of course in typical Rockstar fashion it’ll be quite some time before we see any media or learn new details on the project.

But the sharp eyes at the Superannuation blog have found some interesting info on Agent which shows that the project has been around for awhile. It seems that development on Agent has been going on for longer than we thought as the resume of a 3D modeler lists the game as a PlayStation 2 and Xbox title. The resume also lists the game as a Rockstar San Diego project which is interesting since the game is now being developed by the GTA team at Rockstar North. It’s unclear why development on Agent stopped when it was being developed on the PS2 and Xbox and why Rockstar decided to start things up again on the PS3.

The other interesting piece of info Superannuation dug up sheds some light on a potential environment in Agent.  Once again the info comes from a resume of an Environment Artist who lists his duties on Agent as being part of a team sent to Cairo to capture over 10,000 reference photos for the game.

This info is particularly interesting as it shows that Agent could be an international affair and it may be somewhat ditching the typical Rockstar format of sticking to one key sandbox location. Obviously this may not be the case as the Cairo trip was when Rockstar San Diego was working on the project so who knows what we can expect and what changes have been made since Rockstar North have taken over the project.  So if Rockstar did add Cairo locations in Agent that would be cool and unique due to the landscapes over there.
